Our Work: Community: Sarah Thorne Theatre

Background

The Sarah Thorne Theatre is the only theatre based in Broadstairs and is situated on Fordoun Road in Broadstairs. Broadbiz owner Michale Wheatley-Ward had known each other through various Broadstairs community projects over the years and when the theatre website needed an overhaul, Michael turned to us.

The website features enough information for visitors to make their decision to come and visit the theatre with historic information as well as details about their impressive patrons, Judi Dench DBE, Sir David Suchet CBE and Julian Fellowes DL.

Michael wanted to make ticket booking as easy as possible and reduce the admin overhead at the physical box office. Already using TicketSource, it was a relatively simple task to interrogate TicketSource to grab some code which allowed us to have the full booking functionality within the website.

Michael also makes good use of the maintenance time that he has with us by sending us event posters for the brochure page to give the theatre goers as much information as possible.
