The music scene in Broadstairs is thriving and has been since Broadstairs Folk Week started over 45 years ago.
We are music lovers at Broadbiz and wanted to give fellow music lovers a single place to find all the gigs going on around the town.
When the Broadstairs Information Kiosk was launched in summer 2011, Broadbiz offered to develop a web presence for them.
This included a simple website for information purposes as well as Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Broadbiz developed the Thanetbiz Directory in 2005 specifically for businesses and companies based in the Isle of Thanet, Kent.
The service is entirely free and there are currently over 300 businesses benefitting from the directory. The directory continues to grow week by week.
Broadbiz were approached by Thanet Wanderers RUFC in 2007 to redevelop their web presence.
Since then, the club's website has moved from strength to strength and now uses a system designed by Pitchero which allows dozens of club members to maintain information in real-time.
In 2012, we started working with Broadstairs Dickens Festival which has been going since 1937.
In 2013 we develop an online ticket facility to sell tickets online and hopefully pack out all events.
Moving forward and with some new faces joining the group, we hope to be able to help the festival make the most of the web.
The Chamber of Commerce is the foremost business organisation in the community and for the past 5 years, Broadbiz have offered their web and print design services.
By also giving generous discount offers to Chamber members, we are doing our little bit to help the High Streets and surrounding areas thrive.
